Capturing the landscape around me for over 30 years, I still find as much joy in sketching today as I did when I first picked up a pencil as a youngster.
Once I had mastered the sketch, I expanded my range of mediums – working wih acryllic paints and clay to bring another dimension to my art.
As a lover of film, I took to creating sculptures of all your favourite characters – from iconic Star Wars baddies through to the beloved Dobby from Harry Potter.
I am blessed that my wife and children share my love for the outdoors, and we regularly travel to Scotland and other nature hotspots together.
Seeing the change in the details over time, whether by the minute, by the hour, or over the months – it gives me great inspiration to capture and forever appreciate those moments.
