The reasons why items must be enquired about, instead of bought, is that they may be on show, sold direct from a gallery, or be found to be otherwise unavailable – if it has been damaged in storage, for example.

Upon receiving your enquiry, I will check the status of the item and whether/when it is available. I will then contact you to arrange payment, delivery, and collection, or to discuss a commission if the item is not immediately available.

This makes the process easier for both you and me.
